Dr. Janice R. Greene brings over 45 years of leadership experience across corporate, nonprofit, and public sectors. She began on the factory floor at Boeing in 1978 and went on to lead supplier diversity and economic development for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. She led Commercial Airplanes in Boeing’s enterprise supplier diversity effort with Defense and Space and Shared Services, which together reached $5 billion in spend with small and diverse suppliers. From 2017 to 2025 she led the Women’s Business Enterprise Council Pacific, where certified women-owned businesses across a six-state region doubled from 650 to more than 1,300. Together, those businesses represented more than $12 billion in combined revenue.
As a board director, executive advisor, and coalition leader, she offers deep expertise in:

Rooted and Rising: Financial Sovereignty Conference
In September 2026, Ascenda Consulting hosted Rooted and Rising on behalf of the Black Women’s Collective Snohomish County, in collaboration with NAACP Snohomish County and with grant support from the Community Foundation of Snohomish County. The one-day conference closed a six-month Financial Sovereignty Circle cohort and brought more than 50 participants together with speakers from banking, lending, real estate, law, wealth management, state housing finance, and workforce development.
